Recovering From a Long Weekend
My high school reunion was ok; not great, but ok. I was amazed that, with the exception of 2 people, everyone looked basically the same as when I last saw them ten years ago.
I’m around today, but I’m exhausted from the long weekend and I just don’t have enough energy to put together a post. Not from drinking or staying out late, but from sharing a hotel room with my toddler daughter. I think I got a combined 8 hours of sleep over Friday and Saturday nights and last night just wasn’t enough to make up for it. Today, I’m a member of the living dead and there hasn’t been enough coffee near me today to come close to waking me up.
I have some interesting articles coming up for the rest of the week and I’m trying to convince the Cavewife to chime in, too.
While I’m stuck in the middle of a non-post, I might as well say thanks to Everyday Finance for selecting my article, What Michael Phelps and the US 4×100 Freestyle Relay Team Taught Me About Debt, as an Editor’s Pick for the Carnival of Personal Finance #166. In two weeks I’ll be hosting the carnival for the first time, so start buttering me up, now!
