Friday Link Love - US Labor Day Weekend Edition
Filed under: Link Love
We’re coming up on a long weekend here in the United States as we stop working to celebrate the fact we have jobs. What a curious holiday Labor Day is!
My family will be taking advantage of the extended weekend to visit a local botanical garden that’s hosting a Japanese festival. I’m eager to spend some quality time off with my family - away from work and away from thoughts of working. I’m long overdue for a vacation, so this will at least satisfy that need for a short while.
Just a friendly reminder, I will be hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance #168 on Monday, September 1. Make sure to submit your best article from the week by 6pm EDT on Sunday, August 31!
Here are some articles from this week that deserve an extra mention. If you like them, be sure to let them know through comments, Diggs, or Stumble-Upon thumbs up!
