Friday Link Love - Wormies in the Home Edition
Filed under: Link Love
Over the last two weeks, I’ve had the pleasure to write about my beginning experiences with vermicomposting. Yesterday, everything got started “for real” when my red wigglers arrived in the mail. I promptly put them in their new home, spread them out, and watched them burrow in. This morning when I went outside to check on them, they had all burrowed deep enough that I couldn’t find them. That’s a great sign!
Within a few weeks, I should start seeing some progress in the bin and I’ll probably write more on the subject then. Until then, I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested. If you run into any problems or questions, let me know and I’ll help however I can.
This week, my first vermicomposting post, I Just Paid a Stranger To Mail Me $29 Worth of Worms, was mentioned in the Carnival of Personal Finance #153, hosted at Money and Values. Many thanks to Money and Values for choosing to include my post!
