Friday Link Love - Memorial Week Edition

For a short week, a lot of great things have really happened to me in little time! First, our net worth shot through the roof when we got back our home appraisal. Then, we convinced our credit union to release our tax and insurance escrow so we could manage it ourselves. That put even more money on the books that I wasn’t tracking before, pushing our recorded net worth even higher.

And concerning the blog, I was honored with my first ever Editor’s Pick by Canadian Dream: Free at 45, who hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance #154 this week. On top of that, after analyzing my subscriber trend for the month, I realized I’ve almost doubled by subscriber count since the beginning of the month. Many thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far! I know 50 subscribers isn’t a whole lot, but I figure that I’m doing decent, at least, considering the blog’s only been live for 5 months. Seriously, thank you! If you don’t already subscribe to this blog, feel free to subscribe today and receive my daily updates right in your feed reader.

As usual, the Friday Link Love is dedicated to the other personal finance bloggers who have written some great material this week. But before I get to that, Pinyo, from Moolanomy, must receive some extra recognition. This week marked the official launch of his Digg-like project for personal finance bloggers, called PF Buzz. I’m sure a lot of work went into that project and the community as a whole will benefit greatly from his work. Stop on over there and make sure to vote up my articles!

And now for the link love:

Enjoy your weekend and don’t forget to e-mail me articles for consideration in the Friday Link Love!
