Friday Link Love - Bun In the Oven Edition
Filed under: Link Love
If you’ve stumbled upon my blog even once this week, you know that my wife and I just found out we’re expecting our 2nd child. This week has brought me the full range of emotions and right now I’m sitting on joy.
Joy because I know I’m going to be a better father this time around as I correct the mistakes from my last 16 months. Joy because we’re stable enough financially to welcome our new child with little pain. Joy because I don’t want to be anything but joyful about my new son or daughter.
I can’t wait to be a new dad all over again!
Before we take a look at the great articles other bloggers have published this week, I have some other outstanding news: For the first time ever, one of my articles was included in the Carnival of Personal Finance. Thanks to Lazy Man and Money for picking my article and hosting this week’s Carnival!
Here’s what other bloggers had to say this week:
- I’ve Paid For This Twice Already published her experience on the difference between frugal and cheap.
- Gather Little by Little asked, “What is a recession in the United States?“
- Mrs. Micah shared what looks to be a yummy recipe for ravioli and veggies.
- FreeMoneyFinance ended up with a bit of a tax mess.
- Blueprint for Financial Prosperity wondered why the government would limit savings bond limit to $5,000 per person.
- No Credit Needed shared a real-life example of why you need an emergency fund.
- Frugal Dad raised the question, “Why do you go to work?“
- Consumerism Commentary provided some ideas on how to spend your stimulus check.
- Get Rich Slowly declared, “If I can do it, anyone can.“
- My Two Dollars gave some great ideas for how to clean your entire house on the cheap using natural products.

Have a great weekend!
