Thanks For Sticking Around
I’m still recovering from a nasty bout with the flu and a few opportunistic follow-on ailments, but new content should start flowing by tomorrow. It’s been a while since I’ve been this drained by an illness. It really took me by surprise how quickly it laid me out and how long it has lasted.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers and thanks for sticking around while I’m gone. I definitely have some new perspectives that I’ll be able to share in the coming weeks about balancing frugality versus medical care… Here’s a hint: Don’t scrimp when it comes to the health of the sole breadwinner.

I hope you are feeling better. Sorry to hear your flu shot didn’t work.
Question about the Snowball spreadsheet - I am already paying extra on my bills. I’m not talking a whole lot of money, but I’ve been rounding up and would like to continue to pay more than the minimum on my bills {for example, one payment is $351.49 and I’ve always paid $352}. How can I adjust the spreadsheet to handle payments that don’t equal the minimum?
Thanks!
Lisa

I’m feeling somewhat better. I’m at about 85% now.
I don’t pay the minimums on any of mine, either. Our $300 car payment actually has a $264 minimum and the home equity is actually $200.47. Just put the amount of your payment in the field.
The “standard” snowball is based on minimum payments, but you should definitely pay more on your debt whenever you can. Good luck, Lisa!
