Friday Link Love - Wintery Mix Edition
I don’t know about you, but I’m finally tired of winter. Yes, I realize we haven’t had a “real” winter around her for about 7 years and all of this precipitation will help keep us from suffering another bad drought for the 4th year in a row, but I’m really looking forward to spring now. At least that means I can spend less on watering the landscaping this year!
Well, onto the real purpose of this post: recognizing some of the best posts around the personal finance blogosphere this week.
- In a guest post on Blueprint for Financial Prosperity, Mike of Quest for Four Pillars encourages people to avoid P2P lending.
- Gather Little by Little also thinks p2p lending is a bad idea (and while you’re there, congratulate him on reaching 1000 subscribers).
- The Simple Dollar suggests we think about the current market as a purchasing opportunity instead of a painful loss.
- AllFinancialMatters reminds us of the horror of inflation.
- Consumerism Commentary shares with us a survey showing that Americans are financially illiterate.
- Free Money Finance asks us if we considered the cost of children before having them. (We did, for quite a while.)
- WiseBread tells us how the Chinese culture thinks about money.
- Frugal Dad continues his weekly blogging advice series with thoughts on setting one’s posting frequency.
I know I mentioned it last week, but all PF bloggers who sometimes blog about snowflaking should remember to join The Snowflake Revolution!
